Frequently Asked Questions
General information about how HAVAGUARD evaluates, plans, and supports contract security assignments for properties, facilities, communities, organizations, and events.
General Guidance
Start with the assignment—not a standard package.
Security recommendations should reflect the environment, operating schedule, responsibilities, client procedures, and available personnel. The answers below provide general guidance; a service recommendation is made only after the proposed assignment has been reviewed.
Service availability and deployment timing are not confirmed until HAVAGUARD has reviewed the location, schedule, scope, staffing requirements, and applicable operating conditions.
01
Services and assignments
Questions about HAVAGUARD’s core services, client environments, coverage models, and personnel-based access support.
What security services does HAVAGUARD provide?
HAVAGUARD’s principal services are On-Site Security Officers, Mobile Patrol and Property Checks, Event and Temporary Security, and Security Assessments and Deployment Planning. The final scope is developed around the property, schedule, operating conditions, and client requirements.
What types of clients and environments do you support?
HAVAGUARD evaluates assignments for commercial properties, offices, managed facilities, residential communities, events, industrial and logistics environments, and other organizations requiring dependable contract security. Suitability depends on the proposed assignment and service availability.
How do you determine whether armed or unarmed coverage is appropriate?
Armed and unarmed coverage models may be considered based on the client’s requirements, site conditions, assigned responsibilities, applicable requirements, insurance, and qualified personnel availability. The recommended model is confirmed during assignment planning and should not be assumed before the assignment has been reviewed.
Can security personnel be assigned temporarily?
Temporary, short-term, and event-based assignments may be considered when qualified personnel and sufficient planning time are available. “Temporary” describes the duration of the assignment; it does not reduce applicable personnel, training, authorization, or assignment requirements.
What is personnel-based access control and visitor support?
Personnel-based access control may include supporting approved check-in procedures, verifying credentials or authorization, monitoring designated entrances, assisting authorized visitors, and documenting access-related exceptions according to client procedures.
This refers to on-site personnel support—not the sale, installation, programming, or integration of electronic access-control systems.
02
Mobile patrol and property checks
General information about recurring or scheduled visits to properties that may not require a continuously staffed post.
How does mobile patrol and property-check service work?
Mobile patrol and property-check assignments use a defined service plan describing the locations, approximate service windows, authorized checkpoints, observation priorities, notification procedures, and reporting expectations. Visits may be scheduled or varied within the approved plan, depending on the assignment.
What types of properties may benefit from patrol service?
Patrol service may be appropriate for commercial properties, office or business parks, residential communities, construction sites, industrial or logistics facilities, parking areas, vacant properties, and multi-building sites. A review is needed to determine whether mobile visits or a continuously staffed post better fit the property.
03
Event and temporary security
Questions about defined-duration coverage for meetings, conferences, functions, venues, and temporary assignments.
What types of event-security assignments may be considered?
HAVAGUARD may evaluate assignments for corporate meetings and conferences, fundraisers and formal events, community or organizational events, private functions, and other defined venue assignments. Coverage depends on the event plan, personnel availability, responsibilities, schedule, and applicable requirements.
How far in advance should event security be requested?
Contact HAVAGUARD as early as practical. Additional lead time supports assignment review, staffing, site or venue planning, post development, and coordination with the organizer. Late requests may be evaluated, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
04
Planning, pricing, and availability
Information about deployment planning, service areas, pricing factors, inquiries, and potential start dates.
What is a security assessment and deployment-planning review?
The review examines the property or operating environment, schedule, access points, current procedures, areas of concern, and responsibilities the client is considering. The purpose is to help define practical coverage priorities, assignment expectations, and an appropriate deployment approach.
Do I have to retain security personnel after a planning review?
No. Assessment and deployment-planning work may be performed before or independently of continuing security coverage, subject to the agreed scope. Any resulting recommendations do not require the client to retain HAVAGUARD for ongoing service.
What areas does HAVAGUARD serve?
HAVAGUARD evaluates Tennessee service inquiries individually based on the exact location, schedule, travel requirements, assignment scope, staffing availability, and operational feasibility. Provide the service address or event location when contacting us so availability can be evaluated accurately.
How is security-service pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the service model, location, schedule, number of personnel or visits, assignment responsibilities, supervision, equipment or vehicle requirements, contract duration, reporting expectations, and other operating factors. A rate should be based on a defined scope rather than a generic package.
How do I request service?
Submit the HAVAGUARD contact form or call (855) 428-4737. Include the location, service type, requested schedule, anticipated start date, and a short description of the assignment so the initial review can be more useful.
How quickly can service begin?
A potential start date depends on assignment review, contract requirements, qualified personnel availability, scheduling, site-specific preparation, and any applicable administrative requirements. HAVAGUARD does not confirm deployment until these conditions have been reviewed and the assignment has been accepted.
